Hi there. My name is Eric.
I write, produce videos and podcasts, manage teams, and break down complicated concepts for the general public.
If you’re reading this, either I’m looking for a job, or you’re looking for a new employee. No matter why you’re here, it’s nice to meet you!
I specialize in clear communication for mass audiences - writing, video, podcasts, websites, you name it. I strive to turn my love of learning new things into a career that lets me educate, inform, and delight the people who see my work.
If you’re hiring, you’re probably looking for either my resume, or my portfolio.
To skip straight to the good part, shoot me an email, but if you want to hear a bit more about me, keep on reading!
Right now, I’m happily employed as a Client Success Manager at Mojo Solo, a small but mighty ad firm specializing in B2B and B2E messaging. Our mission is to humanize corporate communication - if a business wants to engage, inform, or educate their people, and make sure they have fun doing it, we’re the ones to call.
I started at Mojo as a copywriter, but my role has grown organically, first as Content Manager, in which I oversaw how that copy was deployed across everything we do, and now as a Client Success Manager, pulling double duty managing projects for our dev team and working directly with clients as an Account Manager on top of my copywriting and support tasks.
As part of a small team, I also get ample opportunities to indulge in VO work, AI prompt engineering, web design, and video production, which meshes well with my aspiration to become an ace of all trades across the communication landscape.
Before my time at Mojo, I was a licensed life insurance agent and marketing team member at Quotacy, an online insurance broker. As an agent, I worked with clients in all 50 states + DC to help them select and purchase life insurance policies that fit their families’ needs.
On the marketing side of things, I filmed, directed and edited videos for Quotacy’s Youtube channel, wrote for their blog, co-hosted and produced the Real Life podcast, and managed our mailing lists and newsletter.
If you really want to get into the weeds, I’ve also spent time on construction sites, fixed mailboxes, done camera work for local TV and the Minneapolis comedy scene, been a stage hand at a community theater, and was heralded by my co-workers as “Salad Jesus” during my high school stint at Old Country Buffet.
I spend my days off eating sourdough, playing with my cat, Birdie, tending my garden, and sipping Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Tea.
Please feel free to check out my portfolio or get in touch using the links below - I hope we can begin making amazing things together soon.
